THE FIELD TRIP COST IS $7.00 PER STUDENT AND SIBLING. Parents do not pay to come on this field trip because we need the adult supervision of the children in the field. Only the students receive strawberries on the field trip. If adults want to pick their own strawberries, they must pick AFTER they have helped the children pick during the field trip. Parents and teachers may also call before the field to order pre-picked strawberries. Be sure to tell us the name of the group you are with when you place your pre-picked order. Call 706-769-0627 to order pre-picked strawberries. STRAWBERRY PRICES: $10.00/gal if you pick; $12.00/gal. pre-picked order. You may bring a container from home to put the berries in after you pick them up, or you may purchase the picking bucket for an additional $1.00.

 Cost
Strawberry Field Trip (both locations)
- The cost of the field trip is $7.00 for each student or sibling.
- One teacher and one aide are free per class of 20 students.
- Parents are free for this field trip because we need their help supervising the children in the field. Strawberries for parents or teachers must be purchased separately by either picking your own ($10/gal.) or ordering pre-picked strawberries. ($12/gal) You may bring a container from home to empty your berries into after you pick, or you may keep the picking bucket for an additional $1.00.
Payments
- We strongly urge that you pay for the field trip with a school or personal check.
- We can always refund you in cash for children who do not come, or you can add cash to adjust for last minute changes.
- We want to spend time with the children, and not with the collection of money.
- Please collect money from students and siblings prior to arrival and have one adult per group in charge of handling payment.
When to Arrive Please call 2-3 days prior to your trip to give a more specific headcount of the total number of children, teachers, parents and siblings coming. Please arrive for your "check-in-time" approximately five to ten minutes prior to the start of your field trip so your group can start promptly. We may not be able to extend your field trip time if you are late. We do not like to have to hurry you through what should be an educational and fun field trip.
Important Information for All Teachers and Group Leaders We've learned this one from past experiences: Do not assume that the bus driver knows where you are going. Click here for our map. Be sure to give it to the bus driver before you leave your building. Please call us if necessary. When you arrive, please have your designated "lead teacher" go to the red shed to give a total headcount and payment. At that time, you will be told where your group needs to go first.
What to Bring
- several Sharpie markers, or labels, to label children's strawberry containers
- baby wipes for the children's hands (after the petting farm) A hand washing station is available.
- large box or coolers for carrying strawberry containers
